Aerodynamics
at what speed does aerodynamics start to matter?
has anyone gotten an Xmod to reach this speed?

One could argue that aerodynamics matter at any speed, but in practicality, it isn't much of an issue for xmods. Unless you plan on attaching a parachute to the back of your car.

would it be of anyuse to put some holes in the windshield and rear window to help cool the motor? they've been running really hot since i did the 6 cell mod.

I drilled out 2 holes in the lower grille of my RSX. It felt like the motor and batteries were cooler.

Like car engines, electric motors work best when warmed up.
Unless you are doing some massive mods, don't worry about the heat! It's not hurting your car or your motor.
As for aerodynamics, I feel that is something to consider. Besides, as long as it doesn’t hurt, what’s the harm? Try making the surface of your body smoother by waxing and buffing a little. At least you will have a clean looking body!
But as far as bodies are concerned, you are better off going with something more light weight. After all, there are at least 8 metal crews that hold those panels together, not to mention that it is already thick plastic and heavy in its own right. You should try looking for a lighter body instead of making it more aerodynamic.

i wish i could post some pictures but my camera broke. this civic isnt in anyway aerodynamic. i drilled out the skywindow thingy and the wind shield. now i just have to move the batteries
