just rumors

until it's in print, on tv or in the stores then it's all just needless speculation. For the record, I heard somebody mentioning an American muscle car too (guessing: probably the 2005 retro-stang)

ok, yeah i would love it if a stang came out. only thing about the 05 one is that i dont know of any body kits or n e thing that r planned for it. i would def apreciate a 99-04 stang(like mine ) but o well i guess well see. wrx would be nice too

Regarding the '05 stang, Ford has worked with aftermarket suppliers in anticipation of the cars release. The suppliers may already have body kits and other tuner items ready to go.

I have a '99 GT and have been patiently waiting for the '05. I would love to have any year Mustang Xmod.

Jaubery is right

yeah, the 05 stang is gonna sell soooooo hot (like the PT cruiser first did) that jerkwads are going to be paying 40k for a 26k car. I've already seen the roadster kit for the convertible, it looks like the T-birds, essentially sitting over-top of the read seat and giving the countoured headrests and roll-bars. The retro-stang is awesome, the new Goat however looks like a RWD Grand-Prix with a V8 tossed in. They may make good cars, but GM is about as stale as 3 week old bread.

just a note. the gto is supposed to look kinda normal that was the idea behind the original, take a normal lookin car and drop in a huge engine. however people r complainting that the camaros and trans ams performed better

Isn't that the overstatment of the year... did anyone check out the GTO review on Car and Driver TV? Jeez, if I was a hardcore GTO fan, I would be p-o-ed.

PLAIN interior, such a BORE!

They say it has a bit of power, and so-so handling, but Pontiac really let this one slip through their fingers. They should have put more time and energy into such a classic nameplate such as GTO.

That's a texbook example of how NOT to remake a classic.

yeah i was just stating what C&D or whoever said this. i think that its a load of bs to cover up what they screwed up. on C&D tv they did say that most of the car was borrowed from a gm car that was already being produced in australia.

so anyway even though im a mustang guy i would have rather seen a new camaro or firebird then the new gto. a disapointment yes but o well the new vette is lookin good
