do they make FM ground recievers

I am looking into making myself a truck
but I just bought a new radio for 1/10th scale
Its FM and ground frequency
the opposite of what most of you are using
I know I can still use micro servos (right?)
with it but what can I use for a reciever other then say a Novak XXL my radio is 3 channel too so could I use a radio reciever and just change the crystal or what

What what do you mean when you say the band is "ground Frequency" ?
27 mhz band??

Its a JR XR3i radio
I think the reciever is too big its like 2x1x0.5inches
If any one has any Ideas
I dont really need a 3 channel reciever do I if I did get a 2 channel one would it reconize the steering and forward signals rather then the 3rd channel

also is that the standard MX3 reciever
I cant believe its 3 channel too
what could I use on the third channel to turn on headlights or something

Is there like a self activated micro switch
