Found new battle tanks - Radio Shack

Hi,
This isn't about Digi q tanks, but... I noticed on Radio Shacks site that they are now selling rc tanks that shoot and have sound effects. Has anyone seen these operate or have more details? They are $49.99 Canadian for a pair. May be good for someone on a budget, and wanting to avoid high shipping charges?

They are 5 inches long, and look pretty good in the photo.

See it at:

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing, although the konami type 90 tank looks very close to the abrams.

Has anyone figured out how to order from Radio Shack Canada from the US? Their only shipping options seem to mention provinces in Canada only.

And that's why I gave a call to Radioshack Canada; the US doesn't carry that item, nor will they take orders from products offered at the canadian site. See, RadioShack US and Canada are separate companies; though they sell the 'same' items, they don't share. Trust me, I went through tons of calls, and even when I gave the US order desk the item #, their computer doesn't see it.

Ummm...yeah...perhaps you didn't read my posts correctly, since that isn't the same tank as the one on the Canadian site....there's a biiig difference between a German Tiger I tank, and an American M1A1 Abrams....yeah...And I own the Tiger I.

Nope, the tiger doesn't have any battle capabilities, unless you want to use your imagination. The red LED light on the turret is just for show. I basically keep this as a nice diorama, since it comes in a rectangular glass case with scenery. The Abrams do have IR sensors to do battle with.
