Just like I said, Silvia.

theres your proof. Its not slips but it does have numbers.
Even if were not talking Silvias or 240sx's, there are plenty of old school eclipses out there that will kick the **** outta a z06 for the money.

Thank you, BC. I was just trying to figure out how to let the mods know about this topic going WAY off subject.

I was going to do that, but the "requirements" on the posting page didn't fit my request. I know how daunting a moderator's job can be and I didn't want to send any more extraneous and unnecessary messages than absolutely necessary. I'll keep that in mind in the future, though.
On topic, has there been any more progress on the chassis? I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product and getting a firm price established. I'm planning on using as much carbon fiber as possible (CF driveshaft, front and rear top plates, chassis, and anything else that someone comes up with) on my car, as money allows.

Where did(or will) you get your cf top plates? Saw a few on ebay, just wondering if there was any other sources for them.

I haven't gotten them yet, but I found out about them here . The guy (Sleepingsupra) is selling both pieces for $15 shipped.

I'm very interested in the cf chassis, I really want the batteries lower to improve handling.

The CF chassis looks wonderful. I'm fairly new this scale of RC cars, arising from 1:64 scale. Anyways, does the CF chassis make a heck of a lot more difference in weight? I've heard of CF hoods and stuff, but does it affect this small of scale? Could you give some numbers on the weight of a stock XMod compared to one with a CF chassis? Thanks.

If the line up of the equipments are done correctly then this will lower the CG of the xmod as the stock CG is high. So this is certainly the best upgrade that the Xmod can have.

Right. It's not the weight that is the big benefit here, it is the lowering of the CG. I don't know about the rest of you, but rolling over in the turns really annoys me.

OFF TOPIC:
This goes to anyone, where can I get an AutoCAD program. I am doing a course in it at college and I need the program for my pc. (for homework and stuff). I am willing to pay, within reason, for a bootleg.
Thanx
