:ö: Hi DanielS, using fullsize ESC with12 or lower than 12 turn motor limit is the best option for you to use in this project , it can easily take up up to 10turn modified 130type motor!, usually this type of esc have "thermal shutdown" that automatically turns off your esc if you use a motor that draws too much amp,or if you use too high gear ratio, this prevent major damage on your electronics.

130 motor was overkill for such a small vehicle and way too heavy... an N20 type motor works perfect!

Hey killer, Could you please post some close up pics of the drivetrain, what size servo are you using? What tires are those? I really like your truck it's based from my instant favorite crawler, I saw it in person for the first time on my bday last year, he said that nelson and nelson racing(Jon's frame builders) are working on a chassis that is going to make that one obsolete! it already dominates like no other.
Thanks

:ö: WoW!!! you've seen it in person!?.., i don't have a camer right now, but here's a drawing of how i arrange the gears... those tires came from a 1/35 MAN Revell truck, and the servo used here is a modified to mini-z board PC-09 9 grams servo.
they changing Tiny's chassis design?.. they must be changing it to an independent suspension design like Evan Walker's Rock Spider!
