I'm not sure which (2) servo wires you are talking about, but here is a pic. The white arrows show where the red and black battery wires are attached.

Most RS stores will not have any small replacement parts on hand. If you want it now, you may have to get the Crystal Set. If you can wait, then you can order the stock ones from 1-800-the-shack. (See CJ's FAQ)

ok but is there anything else that could be wrong? could it be defective?
EDIT: could the PCB or servo be defective?

well how are we supposed to know if it's defective or not? anyway, check your connections to the board with BC's pic. then make sure you get all your other connections are good like to the battery, motor, antenna, etc

2 Servo Wires
Exactly where do the 2 servo wires connect to. What part of the chip.
Does it matter where you solder 'em on..??..

there are the 2 mosfets (big black chips) and there is one wire going to each one just solder them onto where the picture shows. it SHOULDN'T matter where though.

The whole one side of those chips are all the same connection. Just solder the red wire to the one chip, and the blue one to the other, it doesn't matter which pin, as long as you are on the side of the chip shown in the pic.
