I was reading thru hop ups and found that they are working on bearings here that are sealed so the dirt will stay out, so if u find u need them I'd order them from here they said they were cheaper 2. as for the other stuff, Go 4 it i too would reccomend the suspension but I'm not too much 4 awd, it gives you more controll, but less torque, and for the record, I'd use the drag race motor, it uses less battery power and is (contrary to what radio shack tells u) faster than the road race and top speed motors. also, rs does sell 15 min. rechargable batts they r $15 for 4 pk of aaa's and the charger is $40

That's overpriced for the time. Energizer has a 30 minute charger for 30 and 10 bucks for 4 aaa.

Why would you use 4 AA? They won't make it faster, just heavier.

for that kind of money, consider a mini-z, a RTR kit starts at about 100 bucks and they have far better aftermarket hop-up support

The mini's are nice, but there is something about the xmods that I like better. I think it's because I can get into them cheaper and upgrade without too much problem. And not spend tons of money. Which is important since every penny I spend on XMODS is money that doesnt pay for food, gas, electricity, etc.

I do think I'll get a mini if I can find one I like just to own one. I like toys

I'd be perpetually nervous if I owned a Mini-Z. All that money, I'd never have the guts to risk modifying it the way people do with XMODS. Not that they're really cheap, per se, but I'd feel less guilty frying one instead of a $160 Mini.

TRC makes bearings?
Neat.

AAs Will Run longer than AAA's because they have more power capacity, and they're not that much heavier

I would just buy the starter kit and the batteries, then see what you want to improve on.

General law of upgrading.

the rechargeables are hard to find, but well worth it! They chare AA and AAA, they have lights that indicate a number of different things, and the charger folds into a tiny package. Oh, the pack comes with 8 AAA's They make your car fast as h*ll, i put them in a completely stock civic, and had it "burning out" on my carpet!

I found that once I got started with my XMOD, I cannot stop. I joke with the stores that they must be putting chemicals on the packaging to make me buy more.

I just picked up a tire set to add to my S1 and S2 engine sets, suspnsion/steering set, AWD upgrade, etc.

I think it's time for a nother car!

So Jofir, did you order your addiction yet?
