First off, the 6 cell shouldn't fry your electronics if you install it properly. I have been running mine for a couple months now. I wouldn't suggest mixing battery sizes though.

By wiring like the drawing I posted earlier in the thread. The 6 cell mod will only give you more speed, not runtime, becasu you are wiring it in series.

however if u do put 1 AA instedad of 2 AAA it will only increase run time, AA and AAA have the same voltage output its just that AA lasts longer

You could make a killing on eBay with that 'custom body lift kit w/instructions'

To keep the cars from rolling a mod will need to be developed to either decrease the weight from the top of the car or to widen the wheelbase. Both appear to be very difficult to do.
Since my last time at the track (I'm only running 4 cells, w/ Stage 2 yellow) my modifications are as follows:
Removed all body screws and posts (Dremel) using CA glue to mount everything (except for body clip).
Replaced the drive shaft w/ Sluggs carbon fiber ones.
Widened the wheelbase by using a motor shim on each axel and inverting the rims. The only rims that inverted w/o drag were from the wheel upgrade kit, its the ones with the largest space for the lugnut, and do not overtighten the lugs.
Dremeled out my wheelwells, to prevent rubbing.
Modified one of my motors using the SB motor and now have it installed.
Degreased (using electric motor spray) the upgrade ball bearings and lubed them with "go-fast" oil (very non-viscous oil).
I'm hoping so many changes will all have good results.
I will let everyone know how it goes next time I get to the track, probably next week.
The track is an infield type track on carpet, which makes rolling the car an even a greater risk!!
