I got one for christmas too, I love the thing. It drives over carpet like its not even a hinderance. I got the 2F2F ugly Craig Lieberman Skyline ricemobile (bleh!) but all I wanted the car for was something of a guinea pig, so its okay. I'm going to do a ton of lightmods on mine once my blue led's get here. Its probably the favorite in my micro RC collection, since the death of my custom JGTC RX-7 MS Pro =(, they're a fun distraction from my X-Mods.

I just bought a rs 1:43 corvette, I was wondering if the tires from these would fit the corvette because the corvette tires cannot handle the power at all and it sucks on my hardwood floor. I realize that the front and back tires are different on the vette, but maybe these tires would fit one or the other.

i just picked up the subaru wrx sti super slick, tuner kit, and a body kit. i first put in the stock green moter, then put in the 22,000 moter and it was so fast. it was way more than i expected. not as fast as my xmod but close. i think bc needs to start a forum for these super slicks, because of the 3 metal strips on the pcb cover, i think these will be highly modded. i also like the fact there are convertables and they have windows too. maby later down the line, they will have bodies that will attach to the metal strips and will have built in lights. well have to se they are brand new. also i was impressed on the fact that a 45 second charge will last like 20 minutes. ok that my 2 cents by the way, the starter kit was 19.99, the tuner kit was 7.99, and body kit was 5.99.
o also one more thing, i was board, so i took a xmas light and touched it to the metal strips on the pcb and it lit up. although when you hit the throttle or break, the light doesnt get brighter unlike zips and xmods. here is a lil diagram just for any one that was wondering
[negative]
BACK [positive] FRONT
[positive]
also i read on another site that some one tested it and the 2 positive strips are 2.4 volts.

Anyone try to do a wheel mod on these yet? like put modifier wheels on them? Maybe use the original Super Slick tires though (the modifier tires suck).

yes you can add ground effect leds to the stips. i have done this to the sslfl.the leds run when car is turned on.
