NML and Redline both need FET upgrades?
Do both the Redline and NML motors need stacked FET upgrades? Looking into picking one up, just need to know a bit more about them.l
Also, what size can are they using? 130? 140? 180?

as far as I can tell you do need stacked FETS to make it work, or make some crazy FET board that you wire in like someone did here. (name of person has left my brain right now.)
as far as the side I'm not sure, sorry.

well if you don't need FEts then do you just take the entire wireing setup and rig it to the NML? Wouldnt the FETS burn out iuf they had that much current being drawn through them?

Supposedly the RL motor doesn't need FETs, but its supposed to work better with them.
Now I'm just curious about the NML motor.

I will be making two versions.
motors that require fets and motors that don't.
Xmods is not like Mini Z. The latter has a more delice esc, but is better when upgraded with fets.

You say "will" make motors that don't require FETs.
So when will these motors be ready for purchasing? I'm very interested in your motor - moreso than others, but I was just under the impression that I had to upgrade the FETs. Other than SpinBrush motors, I have never soldered anything and the rather large dull pointed soldering iron I have available to me does not look like a good tool to solder(especially with my limited experience) the small FETs together.
