suggestions needed

this is gonna be my first mod on my x-mod i have the civic and i want to put this mr-s body on it i was wondering what you think abbout it and what im probably gonna need. any help will b great...........

First things first: WHERE DID U GET THAT BODY? That thing is awesome. Also, its plastic right? As far as mounting, people seem to be having pretty good luck using velcro to secure the body. Just set your new body on the chasis and find a spot where the body and chasis meet, and stick some velcro there. As long as the scale is right on the new body, it'll work fine. You may or may not need to adjust the the body slightly if the wheels don't want to fit just perfect. Good luck and make sure u post some pics of that baby when ur done!

i just ordered the body like tenmin ago from mini-zracer.com ill post pics of it though hopefully it wont be long shipping.....i think its gonna be awesome haven't seen a mr-s on any r/c ever...

Does the Mini-z bodies fit perfectly on the x-mods? or u have to do stuff to it?

dont use velcrow it makes the bodys look lifted you should beable to use the from clip and try fabricating a side clip, i'll as my friend how he fit on his ss camero body.

i want to buy a replacement x-mod body and cut the mounts out of it but i dont know if i can buy just a x-mod body. if not ill cut my civic up but i really dont want to ruin it but i think its gonna go alright if the wheel-wells line up ............hopefully.........

Most or all of the MR-01 bodies fit very well, although they may not have the exact mounting points. All you have to do to accomodate for that is use the velcro idea (which looks a lot worse than it has to) or some other way to hold it on. The MR-02s are more likely to need some actual shaving or something to fit correctly and not look weird.
