AWD and Stage 2 Problems; Please Help!
I installed the AWD set, the yellow stage 2 motor, and the ball bearings and I expected my Supra to fly. However, I noticed a great drop in speed and torque. My car barely moves. Any ideas why this is happening? Help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks in advance

Oh yea, forgot to say that my steering also stinks now. It turns one way very sharply, and the other way barely turns.

hehe i know what the problem is. i had the exact one last night. make sure ur dogbones are in the correct spots. make sure ur gears r lined up. re-center ur servo. u may have knocked it when trying to change the tierod. if all else fails, throw the car out the window and take it to radio shack and say that it came like thatl. j/k.

ok as for the speed and torque. if you switch your differentials, for some reason it makes your car haul! So whatever differential the directions say to put in front, put that one in back. and the one that is supposed to go in back, put in front. I did this and raced my friend that has all of the same upgrades i do except AWD...and i absolutley toasted him!!

my steering is even. i think the reason is because under acceleration weight is transfered to the rear but the LSD acts as a clutch and slips. the front however is a gear differential and has no slippage internally so between the outer housing of the differential and the inside there is no slippage so the tires will spin more easily. by reversing this the rear gets more traction because of having no internal slippage and the front still might spin a little (depending on how loose & lubed the diff is) because all of the weight is in the rear. i might be wrong though.
