There are some problems. The backlights you link to require an inverter, and are also thin and fragile. So this may not be the best idea for most people.
I am going to experiment with a FiberOptic light setup. It will be a few weeks before I have something to show off... (I want to order another RSX body & another Light Kit first) But when I get it set up, it should be SWEET!

Alright, I'm going to RadioShack tomorrow morning to get the AWD and lights, and I might as well get as much as I can at a time. Gas is like a buck fifty a gallon or something.
I think I'll try WaveJake's LED thing, although I'll try to use four LEDs on each side (or maybe just some diodes in the middle), but I know nothing of LEDs. I checked out RS.com, and they apparently measure intensity in MCDs; there's a 120, a 'low' (?) 720, and a 2600 (I just hope it comes in red). So I assume the 2600 is the brightest, but that seems a little weird that it's over twenty times as intense as something i can get 20 of for fifty cents less.
So what's the best application, do you think? I don't necessarily want the brightest, what I'd really like is to get as close to the brightness of the head- and taillights as possible so the whole lighting scheme looks more unified. I could probably just ask the dude working there.

By all means, get the pictures up as soon as possible. Did the package just say 'high intensity' right on it?

a 120mcd LED is nothing..lol... its like the power LED on your VCR... or sterio... or the power button on your computer... or on your monitor...
you want a mcd in the thousands for projected light... like 1200 is ok... kinda low... but it projects light... 3000 is bright... 5000 is hella bright... and i have seen 12,000mcd LEDs... daaaaaaaamn..lol... but you want the MCD of a led to be in the thousands...

Thanks.
Care to place an estimate on the measure of XMODS lights in MCDs?

I just attached some straws on my supra... and slid in glow sticks inside them! turned out friggin awesome! PLUS it doesnt drain any power... you can easily replace them with a color of your choice!

Well yeah, but then you can't turn them off, and they don't just go out all of a sudden - they wear down gradually. So form the second you snap them, they get progressively dimmer.

joey the LEDs are like 620 mcd so they are very strong and i have them hooked up but cant post pictures because i have no camera so you know what i mean but they look awesome
i bought a 2 pack of n cell batteries and two n cell holders the bateries where 1.97 and the holders where .99 cents each the part # for the LEDs are 276-304 the ones i have are green but you can get red in these the mA is 30 and the volt is 2.1 they are 5mm bulbs but these things are awesome...

Oh really? They're only 620? I passed up a whole load of 1900s today at the Shack because they only had one 3000mcd, and I needed four...shoot. I'll have to go all the way out to the mall tomorrow; places in town don't even have parts, just the cars.
No nuts, no washers, nothing to do with my needy littke Skyline tonight. Although I cleaned the floors today, and had some real fun chucking it around while the soap and water was still all over the place.
