I think I'm going to scrap the electronics and convert to Novak Speed control and reciever, Futaba Micro Servo and Remote. This way I don't have to worry about FET's I can run 12 Cells and a Killer motor without worrying about my electronics frying! Sound like a Plan?

not really. i mean, that will still kill the car, let alone the weight issue. 12 cells? i doubt it.

Your right, the Novak SPY speed control (which is designed for cars this size) only supports up to 7 Cells.

The Noval XXL Reciever is 0.48oz
and the Futaba MicroMini Servo is 0.30oz

There's BC's 6 cell diagram, only slightly off topic.

Well, The only extra batteries would be for the RX and the Servo, and you can use the Futaba NR4K Mini RX battery Pack. This would also increase battery Run Time. The Motor would use it's own power from the 6-7 cells and the servo and RX would have it's own power source. And you would get better TX/RX Distance and more precise control!
