Skyline R34 (extended ofcourse)
I have a few pics of this cars creation in my extended project thread, but I figured I would post a nice lookin pic of it here, So all those not interested in the whole project may see it....
Currently:
-Single 200 mAh cell (adding second shortly) I am working on a "Battery Pack" method that will be charged outside the chassis, then can be inserted into the bit just like a single cell would.... So if you wanted to could switch from single to dual or even tripple cells without modin... :???:
-Custom fabricated chassis (held in to body same as original diecast chassis was. shaved to match the rest of the chassis.
-Muscle Machine rims (soon to be replaces by 5mm alloys i hope 8) )
Future Mods:
-Fully Custom controller, as this one clicks WAY to much when i drive (in order to drift I have to pulse my accelerator alot, so its hella noisy)
-Whatever my brain can make up will go into this car :???:
-Casting body in resin mold.
-Custom Paint job. I was thinking metalic blue in the front fadin to black in the back... with custom printed decals designed by me...
If you want a full pic (1280 x 960) check out:

Or pics of the chassis check out:

Hope yall really like it... I am really happy with how it has turned out so far... still needs a lot of work, but so far so good

that's incredible! I love the fact that everything on that car is so to-scale and the detail is amazing! In my opinion, I think you should just leave the rims as-is because it looks terriffic already

readin these forums will help you leanr a lot about your cars... I have been playin with em for a long long ass time, heh. most of my mods have been chassis oriented, rather than paint ect..
Just gotta jump in and try it man... if you mess up, dont think of it as a failure... think of it as... spare parts for the next attempt.

my first real self modded car looks like absolute ****, it is an duel cell lancer with a fat ass crack on the side, also it has a cat5 antenna from back in the day, it also tried to be lowered, it was pretty funny.

hmm sounds pretty bad i tried to super glue the tab back on and it worked but i had an idea to cut off the front tab and stick it on lower to make the body lower but the tab is flimsy and is a bad cut i think im just gonna get a new ms but pro this time and im thinkin of making it a dual cell but i also heard dual cells kinda slow the car down

adding a 2nd cell shouldn't slow your car down......its supposed to make it faster....

*UPDATE*
Just a small update on how things are goin, heh...
I put epoxy on the bottom, sanded it, painted it then sanded again......
a little more sanding and another paint job and the chassis bottom will be complete...
almost looks like it was made factory like this, heh :P

PS. Adding a dual cell to your car will have crazy speed compared to single cell.! I skyline for one has three cells runnin to maek up for extra weight of die cast body...

looks really good, looks like your car came from the factory like that
