agreed (to above post, not original). i think if you have spent near "a grand" on these things already, you might want to try and conserve and learn to not brake what you have.

YES !
That was my first piece to break . But for that piece since it is staight you can make those out of a certain kind of a bolt . You just have to have a dremal and some Skill . Myy problem now is the piece that goes into that one . The piece that goes trew the bearings and the tire gets screwed into . The one with a universal type joint . Oh and YES these parts have all broke for me I think it is the Driver Cause the driver is soupin up his car DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT KIDS

Yep, my car is temporarily out of commission from breaking the same part.
I'm guessing you can just order replacements through Radio Shack?
If you've made a custom one with a dremel, post pics of that. Just thinking about doing it I don't think I could pull it off. Definitly recquires dremel advanced skill.
And no offense, but I highly doubt you are anywhere near a grand spent. Five Xmods, vise, batteries, battery holders, wire, soldering gun, all that jazz.. and still haven't spent over 400 bucks yet.

Wow.. nice dremel skills! Yeah that's definitly above my skill level with a dremel. Guess it's time to start practicing.. heh..
I guess I didn't take into effect that most people probably buy all the upgrades. I didn't buy the suspension one, just made my own. Passed on the tires and body kit. Didn't bother with the carrying bag or toolkit. Basically I just picked up the 2 cars, charger, awd upgrade and engines and that was it.
Nice job again on those dogbones. I'm going to have to practice with my dremel.. hehehe..

I'm runnin on RWD and I can keep up with my friends AWD Skyline easily. I can even beat him, in my opinion, it just ways the car down a bit.

Everybody will be runnin RWD soon
If RS don't come out with a better AWD . Trust me people are going to get sick of having to replace them CHEAP PLASTIC PARTS !!!! That's I made my own . Now if i could only think of away to make the joints . There's two thing's I can think of : 1. Get all the stuff I need to melt down alluminum and poor my own LOL Which would cost way to much 2. I was also thinking of maybe diping the plastic pieces in some thing . Maybe POR-15 <--- car guys know what that is .

Allthough I've had no problem with striping anything out YET I can see it happening. I totally agree that we need some light alloy parts, if only for the parts that are going to strip with any kind of serious racing. I foresee RS coming out with an upgrade eventually. For the meantime why not go to the RS where you dropped that grand and complain, nay DEMAND a replacement for the parts that broke.
If you do get to smithing some alluminum dogbones and what have ya, you should look into selling to others in order to offset your own costs and maybe turn a profit.
