FET and turbo upgrades on a Speedy
I'm thinking about getting this motor because I don't have a turbo or FET upgrade. But that applied to Mini-Z's so does it apply to XMODS as well?

You mean 'comprehend,' not comply.

yes
You will be okay to use any motor that doesn't require a turbo or fett upgrade, just remember that you're going to have to het a pinion puller/press and clip the connectors off and splice the new motor in or cut the connector off of an xmod motor and solder it on the PN speedy motor. From what I've heard though, the motor is no better than an x-speed or stage 2 xmod motor, don't know for sure. If you get it, let us know.

The x speed motor is pretty fast in the miniz... my friend has one and thats problee what I'll get eventually for racing. The only problem is for drifting you have to use alot of control because this motor allows you to do donuts on short carpet.
I think the x speed might be the fastest motor you can get w/o getting a turbo.

I heard the Speedy was. I ordered one and have high hopes for it. I'm not looking for insane speed though cause I'm turning my RSX into a drifter, but I think that this motor will be very fast.
