in reality, when he drove the BMW F1, he was 3 or so seconds slower than the slowest qualifying time for all the F1 teams...........though thats not bad for a left turner..............i still very much dislike nascrap and these other things like irl...................i am all for F1 as i said in my previous post......GO FERRARI!!!!!!!!!!!!
peace

100% pure racing strategy, my man - Like I said my my previous post too, I have a severe dislike for all of them "fureign" cars, as us Southern Boys like to call 'em LOL -
BTW, seems to me if all of the cars have the same or similar specs, then this would make for a race that would be predominatly based upon driver skill... not who has the fastest car -

Rally and Nascar have more in common than you all may think. The roots of Nascar is the old moonshine runners. They had to make their cars faster to out run the smokey's when being chased down the country roads. So the good ol boys would would get together and race to see who had the fastest car. They would race from point A to B the see who was the fastest. Rally racing in the most simplest form .
Comrade Boris
The Great Juan Pablo Montoyo Jeff Gordon car switch at Indy. Was pretty cool that kind of time for Jeff first test in a F1 car is really good.Jeff was really impressed. But Juan it was diffrent story he had already won Indy 500 in a IRL car so it was really no big deal for him to circle Indy in a stock car.Hopefully we will some day have a American F1 driver or a WRC driver but highly doubt it they get home sick to easy. That what happen with Michael Andretti at Mclaren he was flying back and forth between Europe and the USA.Instead of staying in europe testing and learning as much as possiable about F1.Maybe the Red Bull Program will solve this problem?

Lets see RS already has the Mitsubishi Lancer mold. They have a licence from ford .Ford would be more than happy if the made a Focus. They need Subaru,Peugeot,Citroen,Skoda to complete the line up.Now if they went with Junior group you could add Seat,Fiat,Suzuki,Opel. RS would have the coolest line up if they could produce WRC and JWRC cars with the right tampos on them.Include Marlboro cigarette sticker so we could put them on the Peugeots.I would be happy man

It would look stupid to see any of the others with lights on them. Rally would look the best since they already sit high in real life!

like i said, if nascar wins it doesn't mean that RS will make nascar zip craps...they probably don't care who wins, it's just a stupid poll

Someone explain to me the appeal of NASCAR. I'll pay attention and give it a chance, honest.

Carlisimo,
I hated Nascar 2 years ago. Couldn't stand it. But, my wife from Oklahoma always watched it. I'd peek on every now and then and hope for a crash, but nothing ever happened to keep my attention. Until...a local boy from my home-town (VEGAS) stepped onto the scene. I still won't sit through the whole race, but I'll watch more laps now that Kurt Busch is out there kicking arse. BTW, I voted for the rally cars. I'd rather see Peugeot's and VW's then plain ol' stock cars. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it might take local ties to a driver to understand or appreciate the sport. Without someone to root for, it's really just cars going round and round.

I use to work at the slotcar track on turn one At Cajon Speedway in El Cajon ,California.I guess Jimmy Johnson is from that track so I am told. It was fun to see a driver in his stock car works his way up from the back of the pack to the front on the 1/3rd mile track. They had Pony Car racing,Demlotion derby at the end of the month after the race and Boat racing.Boat racing is a guy pulling a boat with a trailer behind it .Also train racing where you have 3 cars hooked together. Bassiclly the fan got drunk as hell and only really payed attenion when their was a crash or the Demo derby. But I still Like WRC and F1 better because it is safe and they race safe.It so safe they can crash at 180 kmh and walk away.I keep hoping Speed TV wiil start a new channel called Speed international so I can be Nascar free.
