Trust me the WRX will not dissappoint you one bit...it is super fast...not sluggish at all, if you really want to make it fast get a bigger turbo with a boost controller

on one hand i hate to hear these kids getting such nice cars but at the same time i'm glad. if i could get a nice car for my kids, i would. my first car was an '84 chry. lebaron (2dr). 2.2l 115hp i think, as heavy and strong as a tank. it was also something like 3 different shades of silver. i would not wish that on anyone

first of all, if you dont know someone, please dont make comments like that. i am not "rich" at all, think about it. im so rich that my mom drives a 99 astro van, my dad drives a civic dx, and my brother drives a 3g eclipse (this christmas will be supercharged or turbocharged). im 17, if i were rich i would have gotten my car when i was 16( right when i got my license). besides, its not like my parents are paying for the car in one payment, its called financing.. lol.. but after christmas im getting a Turbo XS RFL-Ti turbo back exhaust, a Turbo XS top mount intercooler, and the Turbo XS intake.. but for christmas im getting the WRX and a Turbo XS type h-rfl BOV and an xmod and all the upgrades minus the AWD and crystals w/ some zip zaps with the initial D set, or do you have to be "RICH" to afford ZZ and Xmods? lol

excuse me, but if your parents are financing a car that cost more than the average say $13k honda, then yes, you are priv'ed.... the fact that your parent's are buying you a car in the first place puts you above say 50% of others.
i think you are taking this the wrong way too....it's not a bad thing. i think every kid would like to be in your shoes and would be happy to get something.
my heap was given to me, it was already paid for by the time i got it. i was happy and did not complain though as something was better than nothing. i was 25 before my parent's would even co-sign with me for a new car.
i think kids that have an average to above average lifestyle assume this is the way everyone else is?!?
btw, no one is putting you down (i'm not atleast), just exposing another viewpoint.

Yea, I would say you have more $$$ than most if you are getting a NEW wrx for christmas. Most people don't get sick sports cars as gifts on the holidays. I have a $2000 1992 saab 9000 turbo w/ apc & fuel chips which bring me to 250hp and 300lbs of torque. I am always amused when my car smokes cars that cost exponentially more $. But either way good for you on getting a sick car.

quite frankly, if you work hard to either help pay for the car or buy the upgrades yourself with your own money, then you deserve it. if you don't trash it 10 days after you get it (like some people i've read about in forums) then you deserve it. if you treat the car well and maintain it regularly, you deserve it. but if everything was handed to you on a silver plate, then you don't deserve it. that's just my opinion in general. like i said, i was just playing. btw, shouldn't a christmas gift from your parents be a secret? enjoy your car when you get it

Porches are 'pretty' moddable .... at least cosmetically. The body will prob have no wing and there will be a large one like the one on the firs page and a small wraparound style one similar to the supra. There are a number of bodykit styles for the 911s and wut not. So its a good chance PLUS they already were a zip so they should have the liscnecing(sp i kno)....
