Trust me guys, we have not forgotten about you, we are still working on it. The Xmod bearings are a bit of an odd size, not quite the same as the Mini Z bearings. We are in the process of testing some others out though.

I have a source
I have a source for bearings for Xmods in the correct size. The problem is that they are not price competitive with RS. The bearings I can get are the same size (3mmx6mmx2mm) unsealed and (3mmx6mmx2.5mm) sealed. they run about $4.00(US) a bearing which makes a set pretty pricey. They are excellent quality and are rated to 80,000 RPM. If enough people are interested I will start to sell them but for the price RS might be a better bang for the buck.

Sealed bearings ARE available for XMODS.
http://xmods.decals-r-us.com/catalog...1cfb838484b57a
they sell for rather much, for 8 bearings, its way over 64$. although they are abec 5 or 7 which are fast as hell.

newbitowner...talk to sluggbugg if you want a light driveshaft...he sells very nice carbonfiber driveshafts i personally have one on my supra and noticed a big increase throttle response and accel wise and an even bigger increase in everything after reinstalling the AWD with the CF driveshaft he sells them for $10 for one of each size shipped...i have seen hollow carbonfiber driveshafts elsewhere for the hardcore race modder willing to replace it every race from extreme wear and i just dont find it to be worth the money...i would definatly go with the other CF driveshafts from sluggbugg

wait wait, i just bought a hollow c-f driveshaft from decals-r-us, are you telling me its gunna die after one race!!!! grr now im mad, what can i do to beef it up, fill it with foam?
if so im going to be extremely angry!! and will write a very hateful letter to d.r.u "These shafts are for the serious racer and should be checked regularly for wear. Having said that they are extreemely durable but are a high performance part for your Xmod." by durable i was under the mind setting of "long lasting"
back to the subject i really want bearings... lol come out soon

We will stand behind our products
xxspeednplayaxx
The hollow drive shaft you have will go longer than one race! We have had them tested by race teams that have over 15 hours of continuous racing on them. When your drive shaft wears out shoot me an email through the Decals-R-Us site and I will replace it at no charge. We currently have a hollow shaft that is as durable as the solid shaft with less weight. Just let me know, we will make good on it! Don't fill it up with foam!

dear 35thSLP,
im truly sorry about gettin all nuts... im very happy to here what you said, the only reason i got nuts was cause i really like this shaft, its paper light! and it would hurt if id have to buy a heavier one... just one question tho, after i installed the shaft, the car dosent roll on its own, not even with slight effort, i beleive the axel is binding up my gears, so how would you purpose i fix this, could i file the ends slightly... also the shaft seems to be very tight in my bushings (need those trc bearings) ill drill my bushings a little wider in hope to solve the problem
btw great product, and if it lasts as long as you say it dose it was worth every penny!!
your site owns, but you guys should make more decals, i found a great site for decals that would look awsome on a xmod http://www.decalfx.com/2004kits1.html
