The CLones that OWN

in my experience Buy Clones from WalMart cuz they are 10 $ canadian and when I opened it I noticed Walmart shipped the clones to Toronto first for quality control and then they shipped it to vancouver...They had this anti theft sticker inside the Controller battery panel when I opened the battery compartement and on the inside of the dome they had WALMART CANADA and some sticker inside talking about where it's been. standard stuff.

some dude earlier sed that most clones are peaces of crap.... well i bought a lxx char-g and my friend bought a bit, mine costed 10$ usd (off ebay) and his costed i think almost double the price, mine is alot faster cuz it comes stock with the 3.0 it was cheaper, and i dont gotta put extra dollar in to make it faster, Lxx char-gs are awesome cars and there almost identical to the bit they just dont have the name.

In my opinion, I think the best clone out there is the Shen Qi Wei. I have been selling the Shen Qi Wei for two years straight and to my knowledge, they are the most durable, most consistent in function. Here are the positive and negative of a Shen Qi Wei.

Positive:

1. The chasis has high quality in plastic (meaning no unwanted flesh is exposed which result in running more true).

2. The chip board is high quality.

3. The motor, gears are high quality in injection molding. It runs super quite.

4. Steering is strong. You can actually see the front wheels turn left or right at standstill. Other clones can not do that.

5. The rear axle has grease to reduce friction --> reducing drag.

6. Radio range is nice (max range about 20'-25').

7. High battery capacity. (On a 3.8 motor, it will run for 6 minutes). Now thats good for a clone. Some clones can't even take on a 3.8 motor.

Negative:

1. The body shell is heavy but this is also good too because it can withstand crashes if it fell from a table.

2. The controller is round- like other clones, it is not form fitting to the hand.

Conclusion:

To save mass and weight, buy a Microsizer body shell and take the CPU plastic cover out and use electrical tape to cover it. This will save you ooodles of weight. Trust me on this. It will make your car start very quick.

You can purchase the Tomy 4-channel controller. This is form fitting and you don't have to switch any controller or controller battery. You just slide the knob over to the correct car frequency and you are ready to roll.

After these two things have been changed, you now have a very potent micro in your hands.

Much credit goes to Tomy because they have an R&D department which started this whole micro r/c stuff. They are still leading the edge on technology and all hand goes to them.

zz's are not clones because they are thier own franchise, not a no-name brand that you find at gas stations......zz's are the real thing, but they are not bits.......they do not imitate the bits body's or chassie set up....they are unique.......so you have nothing to worry about....

You should get the bit char-g
It is better than the lxx and the Zip Zaps by alot.
Start with a bcg and then go from there.

I possess two Super Bit Char-gs One Lotus Europa and the Nissan Skyline set
