What is a half-shaft? Are these only available on the next generation X-mods?

half shafts are on all of the cars.  on the "next gen" XMODS they are metal as compared to plastic with metal threads.

they all come from RS. if you want a new one look for these things through the case before you buy it: hood pre installed, and one capacitor on the left side of the motor. the capacitor is the brown disk, there is also a resitor on the right side that is a black cylinder.
