After I drive this one for awhile and get it all scratched up, I am thinking about going the yellow route myself..... I already have the Insigna Yellow Acryl paint.

thats not very nice .... give him the benifiet of the doubt .... he hasnt done n e thing to deserve naysayers... that aside! i really like it and i think the decals will look awesome... good job on the hood my friend tried a black hood but the paint wouldnt stick even after sanding .... his loss i guess! he has the body kit tho so he has 2 hoods

sorry you don't believe me Drifter, but it is for real....no photoshop work here. How should I prove it to you? I used my Olympus Digital camera.... used 2 sheets of plain old 8.5x11 printer paper as the backdrop and set my Halogen lamp next to it to get the lighting.... guess I could take another one and get my thumb in the picture....other than that I don't know how to prove it to you.

I just took another pic for the non-believer. This time I didn't get as close so you could see the setup (paper as the back drop)... hopefully you can still see the car well enough.

no problem Drifter. It really did turn out a lot better than I ever expected. If you get right up on it you can see some flaws, but I am pretty pleased with it. The main reason I posted it was to see if anybody else was using Acryl paints. Guess I am just lazy, but I like the paint because...no fumes, soap and water clean up. That is the only way my wife will let me paint in the house. I kinda screwed up once painting in the house and she has a good memory.

Here's another pic for my new friend Drifter. I changed the wheels on this one. You like these or the white ones better?
And on the decals. They didn't work worth a hoot. I send the decal paper back to the dealer today....hoping it was a bad lot. Anybody out there using Laser Decal Paper from a company called Bel Inc?
