Racing in richmond

Hey BC, I was wondering if there is any organized racing in the richmond area. I think it would be great to get a bunch of us together for a few heats.

What do you think?

Heck yeah, if we can get some people up, I will be all for it. I will even supply the track material, which I already have. I know a few RS'ers that would be willing to race. If we can get enough people to have a nice event, I will even vouch for a gift certificate to RS or something for the winner who takes all!

Do you know anyone? At the very least, I can just get some of my friends together, and let them drive some of my cars.....(after I tinker with them of course...J/K)

Thats cool!! I work in Sandston at the Infineon plant. I don't know anyone else in the area who has any of the xmods. I got this one as an experiment to see if it would make a good christmas gift for my son.

OMG....I work out there too! I will look you up in the directory and give you a ring or shoot you an email. What dept. do you work in? I'm in facilities.

You know, Infineon has some awful nice hard and carpet floors for Xmods.

That is scary that you run into someone on here that works at the same place you do.

I have talked with BC today. Its really a small world sometimes. I am not sure what we are going to do just yet about setting up races but stay tuned.

Anyone else out there let us know.

BC I am going to stop by some of the local RS stores tomorrow and promote this site. Maybe they can let customers know about TinyRC and we can find some more locals to race with.

And you're right about the carpet. Maybe we could rent some space in the new fab

Yeah, we would have to race in the sub fab, I don't think the cars would like the waffle deck flooring of the fab (even though fab2 doesn't have it yet). I wonder if they woulf let us actually run our cars there somewhere on "our" off hours?

Everytime I go into a RS, I show them the site and some of the cool suff we do here.
