questions about using a 9v
is it posible to use a 9v in a xmod without blowing anything up (maybe 2 9v) well if anyone knows please inform me before i screw something up on my civic

I heard about someone trying this. It worked, but the 9v battery didn't supply nearly enough current. the car was really slow.
thats just what I heard.

I wouldn't do it
The most I've heard someone doing is 9V and that is kinda sketchy....I wouldn't go over 7.5. For the mathematically challenged that's 5 1.5V batts or 6 1.25V batts.

Wheel trubles
I just bought an rsx from Radioshack along with the stage 2 motor the awd the weels the tires...ect. and i just put on the last wheel and noticed that it was extremeeeellllly easy to come off it is not stripped and i tried other nuts what should i do................................ Also alont with the wheel issue my car dont go that fast

the best thing to do is to take it back up to RS and they might give u a new chasie (take ur mods off casue they might not help u take them off at the store, very time consuming)

You can pick up aluminum lock nuts from HobbyTown that will replace the plastic lugs from RS.

Someone on here did do the 9V mod on (I think) a Supra. The only way he was able to fit the battery, though, was to completely remove the rear bumper and use the 9V battery (covered/held-on with black electrical tape) as the bumper. Apparently it ran extremely fast, but the bottom of the car was warm to the touch after running for awhile. He said that nothing was extremely hot, just warm. Good luck with your mods
