Yea the light kits takes a few minutes of runtime from the battery life. But you cant really notice it.

it will take away 4-5 minutes, i now only have things in my car that will boost performance ie. no lights

The loss of runtime is minimal with the light upgrade.
If you do the 5th cell mod then you really won't notice the drop.
