Have you tried replacing the transmitter battery (9V one)? It sounds alot like the transmitter range has dropped.

i have this problem too. its on my Supra that i got last night. after my 5 skylines i decided i needed a supra but now this thing does it too. guess this'll be my inside car. its winter and it wont run outside. so it'll work for now. you could also try searching.

Try removing your crystal from the car body and then putting it back in, making sure it is snug. If this does not help you may have fried your receiver by touching the battery contacts the the heat sync. Good luck.

maybe you are getting interferance from something? try a different crystal set if you can. or if indoors, shut off tv's, lamps with dimmer switches, or any wall mount dimmer switches.

Yea I'd have to agree with Se7en. I think that you are getting some interference. That happened to my zip zaps.
