My cousin just bought a red supra, 4wd, and a stage 2 motor. He drove it stock and said it was faster than his micro rs4.
Here are some questions I have.......
How good are the nimh aaa battery sets?
Can you telll a difference between 6 volt alkalines and 4.8 volt nimh? What would you say are the top 3 hopups for preformance? What type of paint do you use to paint these? I'm used to lexan bodies so I'm not sure how.
I'm dying to get one of these for my basement . Has anyone made a track and how wide were your lanes?

The nimh batteries work great. I think they make the car faster than alkaline. This is probally the best upgrade to buy for your car IMO. The AWD kit is awsome too. The Stage 2 motor set is good but only for the gears. The actual motors are pretty bad. Once you have the stage 2 motor set you can use a pinion puller to get the pinions off and use whatever motor you want. I like the Xspeed motor. I hear the Tamiya motors are good but have not tried one yet.
