Ouch that must suck. Are you going to use putty to fill in the holes?

ya...
almost got the body back to a "paintable" state...pics soon...will have to get the body kit now as the stock ground effects are ruined ( the paint melted them beyond repair) so I might as well paint it all together with the new body kit on it.

well...
after a good bit of sanding and using plastic polish I got it smooth again...and the body kit is installed. now to find a paint that doesn't screw up when applied to the factory finish or strip the paint off the ground effects...

Nice! That is an excellent paint job! Awesome color and nice smooth glossy finish, one of the best yet. I like the wheels too.
Awesome job!

thanks...
thats a Duplicolor high temp wheel paint...graphite metallic...available at autozone...you must use Duplicolor scratch filler primer on the body and let it dry a day or two before applying the color or the paint will sink into the plastic and not be shiny...also to get it to shine like this you need to wet sand the primer and get it very smooth...I used 800 grit wet or dry sandpaper...and got this result. oh ya...this paint once fully dry is VERY durable and scratch resistant! thats why I chose it. I used it on my large scale custom built camaro a year ago and haven't seen even 1 scratch on it...
