Super State Supra!
I am finally done with my MSU inspired Supra!!! The painting took longer then i thought but thats ok, i like the way it turned out. Oh yeah ignore the red part on the front lip, i am taking care of that. just wanted to get the pics up asap. It looks better in the day light, so as soon as we get a sunny day in Michigan i will post more pics. oh yeah, i should have my 69 camaro Z-28 body done by then.

Looks good, but it looks like you've got some sratches on it. What type of spray paint did you use? The paint is very shiny. Great job.

thanks for the positive feed back! i used boyds spray paint, i belive it is made by testors. I screwed up the first layer by not washing the body first but sanded it down and repainted. after 4 coats of (cant remember the name) green i shot a few layers of clear coat. not sure i liked the way the clear looked after it dried, when i did my Camaro i did not use it.

CaliKing,
Out of the 4 post you have made at this time, 3 of them have been a negative comment towards someone. I would be a little more carefull in the future.

I think it looks great, but you should put the mild body bumper on and paint it the same color as the stock. Just to give it a little more flare.

Beef,
I like it just a few tips,
one wet sand out the clear with say a 1000 grit then a 1200 grit and then just rinse clean with water and let air dry. Then polish it with a light auto polish.
The will make the paint sing..
Other than that i love the scheme, that looks to be british racing green i believe the boyds color is just called dark green.
I hope you keep doing cars you have a good eve for it just need some finishing tips is all
Good Luck.
Cali..man...where those harsh comment about my car or BC's car...hmmmmmmm...lol j/k man

Thanks for the tips X, i just finished my WRX body and now looking at how to make the Supra look better. What brand of polish have you found works the best on r/c cars?

Actually, with the proper detail, a blue/gold Skyline wouldn't look too bad. I'll see if I can draw a Supra in those colors.
