Are the Xmods like the Corvettes?
My brother has one of those Corvettes and it is so slow to reacting. He squeezes the trigger all the way and the car waits for at least .5 seconds before going. I'm getting frustrated over this question:
Are the XMods slow to reacting or are they good like a Mini-Z? I was thinking about getting one(after I get an Overland), but I didn't know. Could someone help me out?

Huh?
What Corvette are you talking about?
It's not as smooth as my MZ, but I've had no problems with glitching and so forth.

if your having hesitations like that, a setting is wrong or it's got a bug to be worked out. i have had 2 01 racers, 1 02 racer and 3 overlands and none have hesitations.....
you are refering to a cr5 corvette mini-z right?

I have the RS Viper which is the predecessor to the Corvette, a mini-z, and 2 XMods. The Xmod is leagues better than the Corvette(or Viper) in all aspects. It's not as smooth and precise as a mini-z, but we've had 2 mini-z's suffer from complete radio failure and glitching problems. So far, the Xmods are trouble free and lots of fun to mod for performance.

Cool, thanks, Tee Bee. I heard about the Vipers. Is your Viper like the Corvette that I described? Or would you say it's just the one I have?

It's the same car. Was originally sold as a Viper last fall before the Corvette came out this spring.

I mean, is your car as bad as I described, or would you say it's just the Corvette we happened to have?

My Viper throttle works fine, but the steering has a slight delay before reacting, letting you run into things easily if you run it in a small place with a lot of obstacles. The steering is noisy as well. The rear axle is solid and has no differential like a Xmod. This causes squirrely handling on slick surfaces. Does ok on my smooth concrete porch, though. To be honest, I haven't run it since getting the Xmods. They are too much fun.
