How are the Xmods outside? Do they bounce around and lose traction if the surface isn't perfectly smooth?

Yea! 8x10 is small but it can be still be fun. I'd say that would be near a minimum someone would want to race on but bigger is prefered.

When I first ran mine outside, it would bounce a lot. I changed the springs to the soft, and it helped a lot. Being I was driving on the blacktop, there wasn't much chance of sliding or "drifting" anyway, so I wasn't worried about the shock setup other than to cure the bounce.
