Squeeling?
When I first start up my XMOD and fully accelerate, it squeels. Then after a few minutes it goes away. Also when it squeels, the wheels seem to go slower. BTW, I'm running 2WD. If someone could help, that would rock.

your car is "jamming" someplace in the drive system i would recomend trying ot lube some of the points like the axels and such and see how that goes.

I am having this same exact problem without the AWD kit and now it doesnt stop I have realized that it is because I need Lube but what Lube is the best to use I dont want to use something that is going to get dirt stuck in it even more im going to make a sepreate post to see what lube people are using.

Mine did this before the AWD and after. The bearings need to be lubed. Like MadeInUSA, I don't know what kind to use. I have some shock oil sitting here from my brother's Micro RS4. Should I try it? If it screws it up I still have the nylon bushings to use until Tiny gets the bearings in the store.

I would use 3in1 oil, or sewing machine oil, something not so vicuos as grease as to go faster longer. wd40 would work too

I'd almost think graphite lube..like the kind you use in locks..at least it should last a long time.

This is from a thread yesterday. We have been using this and it seems to be great so far. Good Luck.
Precision Oiler with PTFE $2.99 at RS
Claims it won't attract dust or particles. So far, I like it. Seems to wear off sooner than the thick gunk, but when running it outside, I'd rather use this. Non-conductive.
Here's the link:

you don't throw globs of oil on!
Just put enough on to evenly "wet" the gears.
All your trying to do it cut back on the friction...too much or too thick of an oil will actually reduce the effectiveness of the oiled part, as well as miake things inside your car's body a mess.
if you ever got to an autoparts store that has those oil treatment demo stands...you know...the ones wherer you turn the two cranks and look at the visible gears....spin the "treated" one real fast....what do you see? The oil moves rahter unnaturally, and you also feel it pull back on you. Sure you can't feel any roughness...the oil is so thick it took it out, but it also messed up your RPM limits. Funny part was they were trying to sell teh treatment, and all it did was assure me to not touch it with a 10ft pole
