possible for "standard" electronics

I am going to get an xmod but I was wondering if there is room to put standard electronics. I have an xxl and a novak spy just laying around for a project.

You could do it, provided the electronics are small enough.

Sure it can be done, and it should be done, 16 steps of propo is a joke.

Remember you can always swap the body to a hatchback style to get as much extra room as possible.

If you're going to be doing all of this to an Xmod, why don't you just buy a WWS, ABC DTM SP (or X4), or Activ Road Racer?

Probably. Had the idea myself. Use those (overpriced) novak electronics, and put in a cheap GWS "naro" servo. It looks like the GWS servo's hub is the same size as the stock one's. You may need to dremel off some plastic, notably the place where the connector for the lights sits, to free up space.

well because I like the body and because it's only about $70 with a awd kit!
