Hate to hear all these Skyline probs. So far mine is great. However, I did install the AWD kit and full bearings soon after purchase. Handles and steers great. I think the ball diff that comes with the AWD kit is much better than the stocker.

Well heres the deal returned my second skyline today, no prob, RS just gave the chassis out of one of the other skyline kits. New prob got it home, putting it together and what do i find, one of the rear axles is not threaded so i cant put on one wheel. So know i have to go back again and hopefully, i can just get an axle from the chassis that i returned today, other wise Im gonna try and exchange for a different XMOD. This sucks too, cause i really like the skyline.

That's the problem I had with my skyline. Maybe you already read my post about returning it. I told the lady what had happened and she blamed it on me driving it outside. It wasn't in perfect condition but I had taken it apart...the body was all together but off of the chasis and I had taken the wheels off. The front bumper was showing the yellow paint thru the normal black...but I got my money back....

Well took the third skyline back today do to the non-threaded rear axle and got a RSX, and it didnt work. This time the crystals werent working correctly and the steering stervo was making the same noise my first skyline was, so took that one back too. Now im racing with the black civic and everything is working a ok, so hopefully this is it, no more problems and just a smooth running car.

ive got two skylines - both work great
BUT - my first skyline was missing a mirror - got a new one from the 'store' skyline - (then broke it with my miniz overland monster truck lol)
second skyline was fine - but i got a light set with it - and knowing that the LED's dont stay put i glued it in place...without checkin it first...baa - one of the rear lights didnt work, luckily the CA hadnt set yet and i pulled it out, bought my friends fried (he broke it, then fixed it, then shorted it out) light kit off him and replaced it.
my friend has a red supra, the other friend has the RSX - no big problems (yet) with any of them. all seem like they were assembled by children though, mine was so greasy it wasnt funny.

hah this is my first post.. but ive been goin through the forum.. im on my second white supra.. my first one had a defect with the controller...it was weird when id turn the steering wheel right it would spring back to the center then when id turn left it would stick there and i would have to manually turn it to the center..i dont think anyone else has had this problem.. but my local RS was cool about it cause i was the first to buy the SE edition zip zaps and the first xmods there. When i returned it the manager looked at it tested it out and said it was a manufacturer defect and he threw it on the floor.. then he took the car and stepped on it.. then he gave me a new one..what a guy.. hahahah i liked that one too.. i had the rims painted juss how i wanted them and i had to take all my mods out.. but it paid off getttin a new one

yea im on my first skline and i love it, but latly i've been having a prob with the rear diferential, it spins great it just doesnt seem to be gripping the rear axle all the time. It seems to spin it fine when i rev it while its in the air but when its down on the ground it had to get goin first, then it runs good, is this only me?
