made an improvement but as stated already you have to keep them clean ...as for myself im lookin locally for sealed.
a word of caution when installing....take your time

hey phillyb correct me if i am wrong(not trying to sound mean), but how many bearings are you getting at $4.00 apeice to equal $56. dont you need 4 not 14 or do yoiu just want alot of spares??

no you need 14 if you run all wheel drive, and you need 12 with out it

They aren't that hard to install. It's just time consuming. You basically have to take it completely apart to get all of them. And yes, you need 14 with AWD and 12 without. There are two on each wheel, two on each differential and one on each end of the driveshaft.

well 14 is what i have - its what the rat shack set comes with - so i assume that most will want 14 - since most of us wishing to push these things farther are going to probably like awd - only reason i bought one was because i could get awd in a miniz size (already have a hpi micro - 540 baby) for under 100$

how do you run 12 without awd? are you subtracting the two in the front bulkhead? i cant remember what 2wd was like (upgraded same day i bought it)

There are 2 in the front on either side of the differential that you don't use if you're only 2wd.
