That is correct, I used rattle can. I would get an airbrush, but I get excellent results using rattle cans without the headache of setting up the mixture, cleaning up, etc.

ya i dont particularly care for cleanup etc. its just i love being able to do it inside without fumage.

After doing a couple Corvette bodies with Tamiya paint, I can say that I like it a whole lot better than the Testors. It goes on so nice, and dries quickly. It's probably because it is an acrylic lacquer instead of an enamel...

I use Easy-Off oven cleaner (really!) to strip the chrome finish off of stock Microsizer wheels. Works great, doesn't touch the plastic.

im gonna be usin Tamiya Mica Blue, (basically the same thing as Bayside Blue...should look purdy when its done...ill post pics...gimme a few days....)

To take paint off I use some goo-gone or nail polish remover and dab it on a paper towel. Then I just start scrubbing away.

That is the same color I'm might use on my RSX project. I knew a lot of people were going to use blue, and I was going to paint it different, but the more I think about it, I love the color and that's what I'm going to go with.

Believe me, it looks good too. Here is a Zip SE I did with the Tamiya Mica Blue...
