Thats sad Savior*insider,
you laugh/think it's funny that someone is having a problem putting his car back together and you can't even tell the difference between a sealed/shielded bearing and a non-sealed bearing.(dont worry, I'm not laughing at you, I'm just shaking my head)
What is the correct size of the RS bearing?
I measured a bushing at: 6mm o.d. X 3mm i.d. X 2mm thick.
these look like they would work and I may try them when the rs ones fail.
DuraTrax Bearing 3x6mm

im sorry but taking the thing apart and not being able to put it back together is actually pretty funny. if u cant tell im not exactly a nitpicker on weather the bearings are exposed or not, if the bearings get dirty u can always clean them or get new ones.

I didnt think it was funny, more frustrating for him, if you had laughed a little at him then left a link to an exploded drawing of the car that would have been cool, I just tried to help but thats all behind us now.
_revhards13, thats a good bearing find but I dont want to order from hong kong, how much for shipping?
plus you would need two sets or just order/purchase the four more you'd need to complete the set.In my earlier post I linked to duratrax bearings on towers site and a set would cost $28 +shipping there still has to be a bit cheaper option.
Right now people are trying to max these cars out with the best stuff they can get in them and the RS bearings while unsealed still work great right out of the package but they will fail faster than sealed bearings.
I also think people are trying to get their moneys worth, I mean why pay $19.99 RS bearings when you might be able to pay about the same for sealed bearings which will last much longer.
As for me I'll use the RS bearings for now since they work great.I'm focusing on other things like a motor with bearings(still need to look at whats out there)
I also want to do a 6 cell (aaa-nimh) which I hope to incorperate into my chassis I'm planning to cut on thursday or friday.

I measured my bearings at exactly that size, so I think they would work. The only thing is you need 14 for AWD and 12 for RWD and your $9.90 only gets you 10.
