Would anyone be interested in buying any dioramas?
My girlfriend and I have discovered we really like making dioramas. Although new at this, we think our battlegrounds can be labeled top notch - not the greatest ever (yet), but good.
Would anyone who doesnt have the free time like to buy some of our models? We feature molded rocks, organic ground (not astroturf) and homemade buildings. I can incorporate alot of things (electronics and hopefully soon "exploding" structures) and would take requests - each battlefield would be built just for you, a one of a kind, unique, digi-q item.
If anyone would be interested in these, please respond here, and indicate what type of price you would be willing to pay; we are not trying to get rich, but we need to be compensated for materials and time. EDIT: I forgot to mention that each diorama is 20" X 30".
when my batteries finish recharging for my camera, I will post some pics. Thanks for looking!
PS sorry if this is against forum rules, i did not see anything against it, so if it is, please lock and delete.

The Forum rules are no advertising anything that is in competition with the TinyRC Shop...Since what you offer isn't something that is sold in the shop, no problem.
I'd love to see pics as well.

Ah, I'm glad to see a couple of replies! I have some pictures of an unfinished one I am working on now using the techniques I have learned thus far. Please not that one side is pretty bare, Im preparing a structure and buildup of the rock wall in that area as well. The buildings on the board are not quite finished yet, but good enough to photo to show off some work. I know these pictures suck, if anyone wants large files for better resolution, shoot me an email. As far as AIM, my screen name is decepticon2k3, but I rarely use aim
As far as pricing, I am not sure what I would charge. The diorama in this picture is about $35 worth of materials right now - and I spent about $150 on craft supplies, rock molds, things that can be reused for several dioramas; thats why I want to sell a couple of these, to recoup the costs it takes to get started building these things. This board so far has taken about 15 hours to work on. Each rock is pured and painted by us, its very time consuming! More time consuming was making that brick building, what a pain! thats why I only made two brick rubble piles
Please feel free to comment on them, even if you think they suck, tell me why; its the only way ill get better.

Very nice for a first timer, now Im into model railroading and have many of the modeling supplies in order to create on of these dioramas. Its just i dont really have the time to do it anymore, maybe ill get back into it this winter but thus far im diggin your stuff. As far as your diorama, its lookin pretty good as long as you know you have to fade down your yellow trees, there to much of an eye catcher, remember less is more when your adding grass or foliage and that also goes for weathering. And i just remembered that your not done with it so carry on soldier.

porkchop,
Can you take pics with a Combat-Q on the Diorama, to give perspective of what it would look like.
Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply guys, I have been very busy at school, and neglecting my qs : (
The grass I installed in that pic led to way too many tracks off during playtesting, so I am back to astroturf for the time being : /
The batts for my camera are dead, so Ill post a new pic of the fields I have so far when I get a chance.
