Maisto Excess tuners fit with the usual modifications. Here's my spec 2 with a mazda body mod and the aluminum wheels:

Local Toys R us had it.
It's an odd kit... Sides, front back and wing are plastic, center of body is die-cast. It makes it easier to modify to fit since you can remove the individual parts and dremel or sand them as needed to fit....

how heavy is it?
since it has some metal i am wondering if it is much heavier than the stock s1 or s2 bodies.
they look great.
thanks again,
jeff

It's a bit heavier, but I only use the car to tool around the kitchen, so it's not much of an inconvenience for me. I really DO wish apex/epoch would get off their a**es and do something with these things. They are great little cars.

i agree they are cool..
and that epoch/apex are being lame.
have you tried the super slick bodies? i put the skyline on my spec2 over the weekend and i like the way it looks. to some it might not be scale enough but i think it looks like a bigger zip zap.
they have a mustang that might work as well.
i also have a new brights pickup truck that i am going to try this week.
and then there's the quad cell job i need to do.

no. Not yet. All the cars I measured had shorter wheel bases than the Epoch at it shortest...
Do you have pictures or links to the bodies that you got to work?

there are pictures of the skyline...
in the micro rc "other" forum. there you will see a blue skyline that looks just like mine.
it didn't take much to get it to work, especially if you have a dremel tool.
