well it's not really help, but a question, see i haven't been into the rc cars at all (this is what makes me a noob), but i'm a huge car freak....my question is, does anyone know if north carolina (raleigh specifically) radioshacks stock the xmods yet, because i must have the red supra, i will die without it....i plan to drive to the mall today and check it out...but i was just curious before i go.....

i can't wait to mod the heck out of this thing....

another question...are there ever any events with these cars, say, with entry fees, and prize payouts? or anything like that? and if not, what do you think it would take to start something up like that? i go to nc state (engineering student) and i'm sure that people on campus here would love to start a club with this type of thing....just wondering...thanks alot!

your local r/s should have it by now...if there aren't any real r/c fanitics in your area your chances of getting one are high...

there was a show in new york where they had xmods and races... not sure anywere else they would have it...you can probaly make one..well...maybe not..im not that sure..

we have a forum here www.brentroad.com, that's mainly composed of students here, and there are only a few posts about rc cars, nothing about xmods yet....i'm not goin to mention it until after i get a car, cuz i prolly won't get one if everyone rushed out to get one, hehe

They arrived in Asheville, NC on Friday so the chances are good they they got them in Raleigh either Friday or Saturday...

On another note the sales guy at the Shack I went to seemed to think that there would be all sorts of stuff put on by Radio Shack themselves with prizes and such... we'll see.

muhahahha, i got it, i finally got one, hehe....i had to go to two different store, but i got my red supra, they had skylines and rsx's at the first one, but i had to have the red supra bebes...well it's stock now, but my next paycheck will bring many great things for it, hopefully a new motor set, suspension and bearing, possibly awd....pics maybe...later....i'll prolly paint it soon, after a body kit is out for it...
