Light Coloring Tutorial
I know this mod has been done before, but I just though I would show how it is done and my way of doing it. The materials you will need are a ZZ SE car, a paper towel, a fine tip Sharpie the color that you want the lights to be, and a cleaner that will remove Sharpie, such as Goo Gone.

Next, take the body off of the chassis but leave the lights connected. Now take the motor out of the motor bay. Then change the neutral adjustment on the back of the Tx so that the front lights are lit.

If the color you used to color the lights with is bright or a light color, then after coloring it, you are done!
PS-The lights on this car are yellow, but they are hard to see when it is this bright. I will take a better picture later today.

If you used a dark color, such as blue, then that is where the Goo Gone and the paper towel come in. The dark colors make the lights shine not as bright. So, rip off a piece of paper towel, and soak it with Goo Gone. Then wipe the lights with the paper towel sliver, and the Shrapie will come off slowly. The blue color will stay, but the lights will become brighter.

Here are my two SE's in the dark. The blue lights are the Audi TT, and the yellow ones are the Savanna. Look cool, don't they?

Yup the cars look great. Now I just need to get a blue sharpie. If you use a black sharpie will the lights come out nicely?

for what it's worth, I have noticed some color in the lights that come with the ZZse's, for instance, my current Audi TT (my Mustang started to chatter wildly when doing forward, returned it, this makes #7 I think, I am getting good at building them)
the Trueno body that I have also has blue-ish lights, so no need to color them for me, the Audi also looks like it has some amber color near the bottom of the headlight, kinda looks cool
