Radio gear for 1/32 scale?
What would be the best proportional radio gear for 1/32 scale (custom built)? The best as in size & power requirements. Thanks.

:ö: i would suggest, an LRP reciever.. or if it's legal in your area you could use
a micro rx used for slow flyer/park flyer r/c planes... as for the esc.. a FUTABA MC220CR or
MC330CR is a good choice, but if you have enough cash to add, i wuold suggest LRP Quantum ESC

Thanks killer! I've seen what you have created in 1/32 scale. You were probably the one best suited to reply. I'll look into your suggestions.

Why dont you see any RTR 1/32 scale fully propo rc's for sale? Ive always wondered that considering the scale rocks.

It would be incredible if Tamiya would make r/c versions of their Mini 4WD and Wild Mini 4WD series. They can be custom built, but ready-built for the masses would be ideal. A great seller too.

So i take it thats a no Ray? Why not? What is the logic behind not offering them for mass consumption ( 1/3x scale rc)?

Cubicle... i have tried sending my 1/3+ rc design to some of the RC Manufaturer out there, and most of them told me that the problem is that putting those tiny parts together could only be done by human hands not to mention making those tiny universal joints for all-wheel-drive vehicles .. and the next issue is the rc parts durability, it is easier for them to reproduce plastic parts for that scale, but 1/3+ scale is quite challenging to beefed up parts using just plastics.. you may say, why not use allum parts?.. yes it's possible but it would require them to use a special machine to make one part only , and there is not enough market to break even their cash they've invested on the machine they'll use to make parts.
check out some of my works

I have one of those Kyosho r/c motorcycles from back when. I'm not sure of the scale, but they are not big. I'm sure it's probably got some collectible value, but if I remember, the electronics are fairly small. I might have to look into it. It might be worth it for some ground-breaking 1/32 scale r/c.
