New Bright bodies
Someone somewhere had mentioned New Bright toys @ TRU fitting the Epochs. Picked one up the other day and here's how it looks. It appears to be the exact scale as the Epoch (this body at least) , about 1:38/1:40. THey have a whole line of muscle cars and SUVs. Pickups don't work particularly well since the Epocj PCB hits the bottom of the truck bed.
Enjoy

This on a Spec1 with the Speed Racer fat tires and wheel inserts from a SuperSlick. Total muscle car.

Next I'll be clipping the tabs in the back and adding twin exhausts. Also, the rear underside of the body is a big empty space - not a problem if you're standing over it - but I might use something to fill in that space and then paint the whole thing red.

Hey that fit looks pretty darn good! I was just thinking about my epoch while browsing the thread on superslicks, saying how nice it would be if THOSE bodies fit aswell. Even the wheel wells match up... btw, how'd you fix the body on the chassis?
Great pics! Thanks

Still working on that. Right now I'm using the pegs from the crappy Racer X body. The New Bright rests on top of those on the sides and is held on the inside with velcro. That's about all I could come up with last night. I'm sure there is a better way.
Next up is converting my SuperSlick bodies and then finding some additional New Bright muscle cars.
