Can I add more voltage to my R/C?
I got this R/C...
They were made to fit 6 1.5 AA which is 9 volts. Can I add 3 or 6 volts to make it go faster?

That's not a bit/microsizer! The electronics may not handle any more voltage. You may be better off doing a relay mod like they do with Auldeys. If you are not worried about frying it, try 1.5 v more, then 3 v more. I don't think I would risk any more than that though>

Check the Auldey Forum here at Tiny RC. Or do a search for Auldey.

i got two of those (the first one came not working) i put a connection to the 3 wires for a 9v rechargable battery pack and it works really fast with the 9v battery, sadly i couldnt fit the body on it with it in there because it couldnt fit were the AAs went..so i dunno if you would want to give up looks over performance...but the choise is yours...a little advice...there is two wires that uses positive and one that uses negative...when you put the connection to the 9v...dont put the AAs in because 2 of the batterys get really hot because the two postivies are touching

15V started to burn the wires.
I think I'll stick with 12V.
Have you done the relay mod?

I'm running the car on 18 volts right now. I just had bad contact when I tried to run 2 3V batteries.
here are some pics...

I have one of those. My brother tried driving it up the slide. Now it doesn't work. I'm guessing it's those things that look like tall transistors, but I have no idea what they are...

cheaper
Wouldn't it just be cheaper and easier to start changing gears and/or motors?
Usually they have a stock motor and it can be replaced if enough screws are taken out.
Just curious
