If the tanks are going to be sold here, does anybody have dates or prices? I saw the stuff on ebay. I would prefer to avoid the shipping costs if at all possible.
Thanx
Chris

well, from the auctions you can assume the cost will be anywhere from $40-60 (closer to 40 hopefully). it's nice to know they won't debut at the high prices i was told the originals did

Don't get caught up in the 'upfront' price. Once you take into account what the seller wants for shipping and 'other' charges (like on that ebay link above, the guy selling the Tanks says if you're paying with PayPal you gotta add 5% to the amount, including for shipping).

that's why i suggested 40-60 as a possible range considering trc will have to include their shipping, processing and mark up costs. i'm sure it will be about 60 but the lower the better. this is all speculation of course and your right, members should not be comparing asian ebay prices with those of the shop because the ebay sellers save the high shipping cost for the fine print.

i dont care all too much but the sooner i can buy them the sooner i can play with them at work. i've been a silent observer of these for almost a year now and this was all that i've been waiting for.
this may sound noobish but how far does the turrents turn? it looked on the ebay seller that the turrets turn only 120 degrees that true?(sorry thats most if not absolutly been coverd sorry)

Nope, it hasn't been covered Itan (because NO ONE has them yet).
I believe the 120° is correct. Which is still just fine by me.

Well, even if the turret were 360°...The Tank has to be stationery before rotating the turret (as I understand it).

yeah i know but from what i read and umm... dans reveiw page...umm a link would be better http://www.dansdata.com/digiqtanks.htm there he said that you can just stop for less than a sec and fire then keep moving. ah well... still gonna buy them all once they hopefully get relased again.

Don't worry, I'm not discouraged by it's MINOR imperfections whatsoever...As a matter of fact, doesn't a REAL tank have to be stationery as well?

not so...tanks like the abrams, cheiftan and the german model can rotate and fire while moving. this is what led to the slaughter of the russain t?'s in iraq in the 1st gulf war. that and we had thermal/night vision

the sweetest thing about hte m1a1 and the m1a3 or was it a2 anyways its normal m1a1 but it has anither pod up top for the commander to look for another target as the gunner has another pod so that he/she can always keep the target in sight. also it has electronic stabability controls for the turret so no matter what the tank go's over the tip of the barrel doent move. if you ever seen one on the run the turret just dosent move its creepy
