no the 4.2 pro is the fastest yet so stop upgradeing parts and do a multi cell mode (dual cell tri cell and the rare quad cell) if you get a quad cell with a 4.2 pro and some 8:25:1 gears that thing will probly reach 15mph possibly higher

Is it 4.2 pro faster than a regular 4.2 with a 1 speed?

if you really need to be faster(i wouldnt suggest this)but unwrap your engine(for experts only)if done right the motor shold be faster but less torqy another way besides adding batts is doing a mosfet

wait a sec. the perfection 4.2 isn't faster than a phast motor! i know i have 2 of each and both phast motors have way more torque than the perfection motors. i haven't raced them side by side for 4 miles or anything, but from my kitchen to the other side of my living room the phast motor is the fastest.

yeah i'm wondering this too, and also did you test it in a microsizer? my clone with the 4.2pro blows my ms with 4.2 out of the water

RCmod.com
not sure if it's a pro or not. i will check and write back. i know i have 2 motors that i got from toyeast and they were 4.2 maybe one is a 4.2 and one is a 4.2 pro. the 2 phast motors i got from rcmod. not sure of their ratings but their torque was spectacular! i raced the motors in a Shen. i do have an MS and a Bit but i didn't even know that they ran at different charges. any one else experience this?

anyone wanna post 20 foot times using a stock microsizer or M/S Pro with top speed gears for both the King 4.2 and the Phast! motor?
I am racing some people in a few weeks and need to make a decision.
