took apart a pen from Mirage had like 20 and found 2 things very useful, one pen tip which is skinny but then has a larger area in the end perfect for the end of the exhaust, and a gold plated spring 2 birds in one stone

the "clicky pen idea"
I don't think I saw any pictures of the "clicky pen" idea. So I thought I'd come up with some myself.
Pardon the mess i'm in the middle of messing with the body, but I taped on the click-pen top to show what it looked like anyway.
For the ZZ (at least the PT) It's rediculously huge, and I think i'll go with the pen tip approach for now (I destroyed my plastic Chrome tailpipes by supergluing them to my finger way to go )
Anyway, it's got a very thin wall and that rolled out edge, so it may look good as a ricer motor for a MS or Bit, since they are "larger" in appearance due to the cartoonish compression.
anyway, here goes.

Cannibalism
Just look at all the toys, and see what you can chop. I saw a piece of crap motorcycle with tailpipes that would be suitable to be a big ricer muffler... I've also got a "lowrider" toy that I chopped up. It had a blown engine and stupid looking open headers... but I just chopped the headers and made some pretty decent looking dual tailpipes. They're a bit small, and admittedly not nearly as nice as even the pen-tip ones... but considering the car was less than two bucks, and i had it laying around anyway? It's cheap and easy.
I also put in the blown engine~ which i suppose is more acceptable for a PT since it's american made... even if it is only an inline 4!

Hi guys.
You know how the muffler that you said was too expensive? Well, if you want a real-looking muffler, use a lathe if you know how to use it. My dad made me some mufflers for my Super Bit Char-gs on his lathe. BTW, did you know that you can also make custom rims on one of those automatic CNC machines that make little parts? All you need to do is measure the size of the rims that you wanna make and sketch everthing out. It takes long, but its worth it. I got custom Enkei, BBS and Konig rims on my BCG.
