do you have pics? how do they perform? still looking for them in my area, but haven't heard much about how well the boats work.

I didn't buy one, I just saw them at my local Wal-mart right next to the NKOKs and the Disney cars.

whatever......
Anyway, I'm thinking of replacing the battery holder.....I plan on buying a 9 volt battery holder and replacing the 3 AAA holder in the car with the 9 colt holder. That's the PLAN. It won't be as easy as it looks, anybody dare to try???

thats twice the voltage... i would be wary, also i know some ninie volt are really 6 batts slighty smaller than aaa in case, so it might be cheaper to just do aaa, i dont know.

Each have their own advantages. ZipZaps are a LITTLE more upgradeable than MicroSizers (I.E. hubcaps, different tire treads, same wheel sizes) and they have the sweetest bodies you can find for any micro RCs. BUT microsizers have better mods like the dual cell and the stock battery has more power output than a Zip, but about half the runtime capacity. AND, MicroSizers have smaller front wheels that a ZipZap, but SLIGHTLY larger back wheels. The ZipZaps and MicroSizers have the same gear ratios, but different motor rpms. See, for ZipZaps, the motors you can get in the stores are 16,000 rpm, 21,500 rpm, 23,500 rpm, 28000 rpm, and 34,000 rpm. But for MS there is only 10,000 rpm, 16,000 rpm, 22,000 rpm, and 26,000 rpm, but that's only in physical stores. Online is a WHOLE different story. And MicroSizers and ZipZap motors are compatible, just require some adjusting. There is a certain type of MS that has a turbo button, the MS pro. When not pressed, an MS is slower than normal. But when pressed, it goes to normal speed. So if you can amp up the non-turbo speed to normal, then you will have a better MS.
For more speed in physical stores and more runtime, try the ZipZaps. For a turbo button or normal speed in stores, but higher speed than ZipZaps from online stores, get the Micro Sizer/Pro.
edit: in america, it's called a microsizer, but in japan it's bit char-g. In europe it's LXX char-g.

whoa ther charlie, some of that isnt right.

you can dual cell a zipzap, in fact i prefer it, the zz handles way better than an ms or clone, even at very high speeds(for a 1/64 size car) also it is alot easier to fit two batts internal in a zz then a ms

no it is not, the lxx is a clone, not made by tomy, i forgot what name it is in the uk, or the one is australia is called.

and that is just debateable, ms's can fit zz motors, you just have to sand down the little numb on the motor, ms's are faster do to their light weight but uncontrolable over a 2.6 (imo) and if you double charge, runtime is fine for both.

There is a 3.0 made by Tomy. I dont think it has a lot of torque but it is 3.0.
sorry charlie, i dont mean to sound mean or put you down, but some of the stuff you put was wrong, but if i am wrong someone please correct me

*reaches into computer and smacks vtheo with lucy's football*
I have a knack for getting put down.... ZZ motors don't fit MS cars unless you sand them? Who wants to take THAT risk? I pass! and I'm saying that the MAXIMUM runtime is diferent. and for the dual cell, how do you fit it in there? WITHOUT flipping the pcb and snapping wires????
3.0 is indeed made by tomy, but is it sold in physical stores like RS? or Hobby shops??? Didn't think so.....
